Governor Pataki recently announced appointments to the First and Second Appellate Division Departments. He is designating Justices John W. Sweeny, Jr. and James M. Catterson as Justices of the Appellate Division, First Department and Justice Robert Lifson as a Justice of the Appellate Division, Second Department.
