No Central Resource for New York State Judges’ Biographical Information

This article in the New York Times discusses the lack of a central resource for biographical information on state Judges and Justices. The Court of Appeals lists the Judges’ biographies on their homepage and in the Court’s printed literature. As the article notes, the federal court system also lists short biographical information at the Federal Judiciary Center. I don’t see the harm in listing short biographies of New York State Judges and Justices on the Office of Court Administration’s Website, modeling the structure after the FJC.
