New York Civil Law Gets A New Look — Sort Of

As you probably noticed, I added several features to New York Civil Law. Here’s a quick list of changes:

1. Pico Search Bar. This is my biggest accomplishment. The search bar will come in handy when I start my project of posting case summaries on insurance law, tort law, and the Labor Law. I hope to make this blawg a one-stop resource for case summaries concerning these issues. A hefty project indeed.

I tried to institute a Google search bar but it was giving me a lot of problems.

2. Creative Commons License. I’m a supporter of the true intent of the Copyright Clause as the Founders probably intended — meaning copyrights should be for a true limited amount of time. Thus, I went out and got me a Creative Commons license. The license is probably more significant to me because I support others building on art, music, technology, etc. However, for you, the license just means that if you ever want to take any contents on this blawg and do something with it outside of what would be considered “fair use,” you should give a cite to New York Civil Law. That’s all I ask. Bloggers are just about the most supportive and respectful persons I’ve met, so, as I said, the license is more symbolic.

3. A Blogarama graphic. I finally figured out how to post those graphics. Therefore, I wanted Blogarama to be properly displayed.

If you have any suggestions to these changes or some other changes you would like to see to improve this Blawg, please let me know. Enjoy!
