I wouldn’t call it “news” because this press release came out in February 2004, but the New York City Comptroller has initiated a program with Cybersettle concerning claims filed against New York City. Apparently parties can now issue settlement demands and offers on a secured website. Has anyone experienced this process and, if so, has it expedited the settlement process?
