Not to sound corny, but I actually pursued the legal profession because I think, and still believe, that it is a noble profession. These past two weeks, I have encountered tactics and behavior from lawyers that makes me think that some merely equate practicing the law as if it were just a means to a paycheck. It gets me down and concerned for the clients that those lawyers represent.

As a renewed faith in why a chose the path of becoming an attorney — the love of learning and practicing the law — I am citing some advice a great lawyer and person in American history gave to other young lawyers. It lifted my spirits; I hope it lifts yours.
