Superintendent Gregory V. Serio of the State’s New York Department of Insurance applauded a recent Supreme Court decision granting a temporary restraining order prevent an insurer, Pawtucket Mutual Insurance, for canceling approximately 1,000 homeowner policies in New York State (see today’s press release here).
