2004 Is The Year of the Blog — Literally

The four-letter word "blog" was the word most looked-up on Merriam-Webster’s Internet sites (see article in CNET New.com).  Although the mainstream media has tried to expose blogging through numerous political events or mishaps, the general public, for the most part, does not quite understand the capacity of this publishing revolution.  As more people read Weblogs on a regular basis, the myth that all Weblogs are merely outlets for frustrated writers will diminish.

This year was, no doubt, the year of the blog for me.  I not only started this "blawg" in February 2004, but I also instituted reading all sorts of Weblogs into my daily activities and workday.  The results of both pursuits have been incredibly satisfying.
