New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer — the country’s most visible state attorney general (for good reason) — has announced that he will run for Governor of New York (see article here in the NewYork Times).  Notably, Attorney General Spitzer has set up this blog for his campaign.

My experiences with the Attorney General’s office during Eliot Spitzer’s tenure have been extremely positive.  He hired exceptional attorneys, and his choices of Solicitor Generals (both women) demonstratively improved the discussions in the courts about New York law and issues affecting New York.
