New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg wrote this editorial in the New York Daily News regarding the currents problems with this state’s judicial selection process.  The Mayor is calling for independent commissions to opine on the qualifications of candidates running for judicial elections, political parties to nominate only qualified candidates, and the Legislature to impose these requirements.
