I argued an appeal last week at the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, so I took the opportunity to take a picture of the Courthouse. Apparently my picture seems to be almost exact with the one posted on the Court’s Webpage, sans the hotdog stand.
The Courthouse is located in Rochester, New York and houses a pretty impressive library, as well as two courtrooms. Both courtrooms incorporate a nice mix of traditional and modern. I like the intimacy of Courtroom 2 because the oral arguments seem more like conversations than anything else (the way oral arguments should be!).
