Chief Judge Judith Kaye swore in newest New York Court of Appeals Judge Eugene Pigott yesterday (see article in Buffalo Business First about swearing in ceremony).  The swearing in ceremony was followed by high-profile case Campaign for Fiscal Equity v. State, which concerns education funding in New York (see article in New York Law Journal on appeal).
