As the saying goes, better late than never.  I received this press release (Download pro_bono_center_news_release.doc) about ProBono.net.   This valuable website offers a broad introduction to pro bono work in New York City, including an overview of practice areas and pro bono organizations; traning and volunteer opportunities; and training manuals and practice materials covering a wide range of substantive areas.
