Happy First Tuesday

The Supreme Court of the United States, by law, begins its Term on the First Monday on October (see here).  In law school, some really cool professors celebrated First Monday and made a big deal out it.

I haven’t found the equivalent in New York, so I am starting a tradition today by wishing everyone a HAPPY FIRST TUESDAY.  Today is the first day of the New York Court of Appeals 2007-2008 (excepting the Election Session in August).

Blast some music, beep your car horn, or just quietly celebrate First Tuesday at your desk.  As long as you celebrate in your own personal way, I’ll be happy.
